The Corner Cafe

This addition catches me up for the year. One video for each week. This one was recorded 25 years ago. Love the black hair. Was contracting carpentry trim work in the South Barrington Lakes area. The fellow that was installing a high end set of circular stairs brought his video camera one day and we recorded a little at lunch time.
This song was written in the 80s, I copyrighted it in 1994. It did get a little recognition from some Nashville producers, but nothing ever came of it. Oh Well!

Down on the corner there's a little cafe,
I stop for coffee every day,
Three cups of coffee is usually enough,
That gives me some time to see some really tough stuff.

She's got eyes that paralyze,
And when she moves, I'm hypnotized,
Any free time in my day,
I spend at the corner cafe

She must think, I'm an old coffee hound
She don't know the reason I really come round.
Smile that drives me up the wall,
she's a dark haired green eyed livin doll.

Ruby lips and firey eyes,
The way she moves should win a prize.
Any free time in my day,
I spend at the corner cafe...

I spend at the corner cafe.
