With all the crap on the internet a person wonders, just what can I use and what do I want to avoid. We always wonder how safe we are and whether we are going to get something started that we wish we hadn't.
Anyway...........I hope that this blog is something that someone may find interesting.


I would like to be able to use this blog to publish parts of my life and what's going on, but am finding it rather difficult. It is not working the way I think it should. I would like to invite friends to join me or follow the blog but it is not a simple thing to navigate.
I want to post a few items from my desk.

First I want to talk about a pending trip across the country and back this September and October.
Let's get started..
The first leg of the journey takes my Brother George and I across the Northern states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.

This little beauty will be carrying us to Oregon and then taking me to California and back to Illinois via old route 66 or as much of 66 as we can still drive on.
